(Indianapolis, IN — May 5, 2020), a conversational artificial intelligence and analytics platform, released today new curbside pick up features to its solution, LIBRO, the first full-service library app that integrates with public and university libraries’ ILS systems.The new capabilities enable patrons to select materials remotely from their mobile device and schedule curbside pick up at their local library while providing library staff a convenient method for completing the delivery.

LIBRO’s curbside pick up feature provides a simple, patron-facing user interface in a mobile application that takes the user through a few simple steps to search their local library for books and articles, reserve the materials and select a time for pick-up. From there, the home library receives a notification of the order through a portal that allows the order to be tracked from collection to delivery outside of the library.

LIBRO seamlessly connects to libraries’ ILS and FAQ pages, allowing patrons to search and hold available materials as well as inquire about library hours, policies, locations and other valuable information that will be updated and released over time. The comprehensive library facing portal allows library staff to monitor the queue and plan ahead including features that analyze patron satisfaction. LIBRO is VPAT-certified, and built with full voice capabilities helping libraries meet ADA compliance standards.
